Covid-19 dashboard: WNY cases and deaths

From Niagara Falls to Rochester, the region is bracing ahead of a feared uptick in cases as early as September or October.
"Do we face the chance of getting shut down like we did in March?" Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz said during a Wednesday press event. "I'd say the answer's yes. Not that we want that."
The data suggest the pandemic is well-controlled in the region, despite rising case counts across much of the country and some of the state.
