Tree sit in Mexico

Activists say Border Patrol agents, employees of Fisher Sand & Gravel and Mexican authorities unsuccessfully attempted to extract a tree-sitter just south of Lochiel, Ariz., in Mexico, from the final cottonwood remaining in the path of wall construction late Thursday and early Friday morning. This image, taken through the bollards of the newly installed border wall at the protest site, shows authorities using an aerial lift to try to reach the protester in the tree, according to the Sonoran Desert Press Office, a volunteer media team supporting the activists.
