Producers of ABC News' "20/20" program have announced that a segment on last year's trial of Bradley Schwartz will air Friday at 9 p.m.
David Ricker, a Pima County Superior Court spokesman, told Judge Nanette Warner about the planned broadcast on Monday during a hearing for Ronald Bruce Bigger.
Prosecutors say Bigger stabbed Dr. David Brian Stidham to death on Oct. 5, 2004, at the behest of Schwartz, an eye surgeon.
On May 2, a jury convicted Schwartz of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, but it couldn't reach a verdict on the first-degree murder charge itself.
Schwartz is serving a life sentence with parole possible after 25 years.
