The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who attempted to rob a bank in the Foothills on Friday afternoon.
The man walked into a Chase Bank at 4398 N. Campbell Avenue around 12:45 p.m. and asked the teller for money, according to a news release from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
He implied he had a gun but fled the bank, located in St. Philip’s Plaza, without getting any money, the release said .
The man is described as being in his late 20s to early 30s, weighing about 175 pounds and is about 6 feet tall.
He had some facial hair directly under the center of his bottom lip, and was last seen heading south on Campbell, the release said.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME, the anonymous tip line of the Pima County Attorney’s Office.
