A driver crashed through a window at a Jerry Bob’s restaurant Tuesday morning.Â
The wreck occurred around 7 a.m. when a four-door Honda sedan burst through the window of the restaurant on the 1500 block of West St. Mary’s Road. The driver was sent to the hospital as a precautionary measure, but no diners were injured, said Capt. Barrett Baker of the Tucson Fire Department.
The wreck did not cause any structural damage and the restaurant likely will open as soon as cleanup is finished, he said.
Tucson police are still investigating the cause of the wreck, said Officer Kristopher Goins of the Tucson Police Department.Â
