The Joel D. Valdez Main Library will showcase the art of local high school students through the end of the month as host of the 19th Annual High School Art Invitational.
The featured works are submitted by high school art teachers and a juried panel will judge the show and select winners in six categories: painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, mixed/other media and special recognition.
This year the exhibit features 84 student entries from 20 different schools.
The winning students will be presented with gift cards at a reception on March 29.
The art will be display at the library until March 31.
