Sabino High School will induct its first Hall of Fame class at tonight's football game.
The inaugural class includes 1979 graduates Willie Wood — a PGA golfer — and NBC sportscaster Dan Hicks.
Other honorees are 2001 graduate and current Baltimore Orioles baseball player J.J. Hardy, and longtime Sabino teacher and coach Bruce Johnson.
The 1979 boys state champion tennis team and the 1986 boys state championship golf team also will be honored.
The honorees will be recognized before the game on the football field at 7 p.m. and during a halftime ceremony.
The Hall of Fame is sponsored by the Sabino Foundation.
