Recruits spend about four days learning extrication techniques. Inside the car Tony Compano, recruit training officer and paramedic, assists the "victim" during the rescue. This is an opportunity for the recruits to have realistic hands-on-training using many techniques involved with freeing trapped victims from vehicles. Photo taken Wednesday, July 23, 2014.Â
