The Nature Conservancy’s Ramsey Canyon Preserve near Sierra Vista has been closed temporarily because the main entry road was washed out by flooding related to the Odile storm.
Five inches of rain fell on the preserve over a three-day period, causing Ramsey Creek to swell and cut the road, according to a Conservancy news release.
The preserve in the Huachuca Mountains, known for its biodiversity and abundant bird life, is scheduled to reopen on Thursday.
