A fire at a Midvale Park home displaced six people Saturday afternoon.
The Tucson Fire Department was called to the 1700 block of West Ransom Oaks Drive around 4:45 p.m. to a blaze that caused about $75,000 damage to the home, said Capt. Norm Carlton, a Tucson Fire Department spokesman.
The fire was contained to the living room and was brought under control in 9 minutes, he said.
Investigators have ruled out accidental causes and have determined it was an arson fire, Carlton said.
Nobody was home at the time, and nobody was hurt, he said.
