The Tucson Citizen showed photos of the home built in about 1896 by George Roskruge. In 1961, his niece Mrs. Beppie L. Culin had lived in the home for 40 years.

1961 Tucson home photos: A bygone era recalled
Many a child has rattled a stick along the picket fence which encloses this turn-of-the-century house. Note the "gingerbread" along the front roof line. At one time a carved wood fan highlighted the roof gable.
