Helen Bayly has been preparing for the Tucson Senior Olympics festival — by swimming, throwing the discus and the shot put — all sports she will be competing in this January. Bayly is 79 years old, and she says years of shoveling snow in upstate New York, lugging grocery bags around and carrying her five children have built up her muscles.
