The number of "avoidable" car accidents in Tucson is outrageous. Is anything being done to rein in those who speed through yellow lights and disregard the red ones with total impunity? Is anyone counting the number of accidents with injuries at intersections? Apparently, we have the "freedom" to drive dangerously ... but we have forgotten that your freedom ends where it endangers others. Our elected officials are defending the freedom of the reckless over the freedom of those who obey the laws. Hey Mayor: Do something.
