A 10/22 article in HuffPost noted that lawmakers in several states "pal around with white supremacists". Prominent among them was our own state representative Mark Finchem (LD11).
The article goes on to say Finchem ". . .is a member of the Oath Keepers, a radical anti-government group awash in conspiracy theories and dreams of violent revolution. The group's founder, Elmer Stewart Rhodes, mused in May 2015 about the prospect of convicting then Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) of treason and hanging him." Prominent on Oath Keeper's current website is yet another inflamed conspiracy theory -- about "Q" or "QAnon" and the supposed covert efforts of military intelligence to alert Trump supporters to the ongoing battle with the "Deep State".
Elections matter - voters in LD-11 have a choice. We can keep Finchem and his radical fantasy world, or come back to pragmatic reality and responsive good government. Please join me in supporting Hollace Lyon in LD-11 this November.
