Twelve members of the SaddleBrooke Photography Club submitted images to the Arizona Camera Club Council for their 2025 “Spring Roundup” held on Saturday, March 8. The “ACCC” is a group comprised of a dozen camera clubs in Arizona. Some of the best photographers in the state submit images for the twice-yearly “roundups”. This Spring, there were over 1,100 images submitted in the competition for the judges to consider. Images submitted for the competition are divided into six categories: Color open, monochrome open, photo travel, creative, flowers and nature. Both printed and digital images are accepted in the competition.
Daniel Lacroix of the SaddleBrooke Photography Club took top honors at this roundup and was awarded “Best of Show” for his monochrome image “Charlotte Nostalgie”. Bob Shea took top place for the “Human Interest” award for his image entitled “Wall Reflections”. Other members submitting images were Mark Guinn, Rodger Bivens, Sharon Cotter, Susan Schwartz, Susan Dinga, Jeanette Brinker, Ellen Victor, Teresa Munson, Jim Smith and Andrea Gray. All 12 SaddleBrooke photographers placed among the top 30 percent of all entries in the six categories, with several “top three” awards for their submissions.
