TUCSON, AZ (March 31, 2026) – The medical staff of all four Northwest Healthcare hospitals honored Doctors’ Day on March 30 by donating a total of $15,500 to Youth on Their Own, a local non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the high school graduation rates and continued success for youth experiencing homelessness.

Traditionally, physicians receive gifts on Doctors’ Day, but our physicians celebrate the occasion as an opportunity to give.

Being a physician requires not only skills and expertise, but time, sacrifice, and a willingness to put others first. Our Northwest Healthcare doctors – whether in the Emergency Department, a hospital room, or an urgent, primary, or specialty care clinic – are outstanding examples of all these. We are deeply grateful to them for giving even more on Doctors’ Day.
