Brooks Robinson
Hall of Fame third baseman Brooks Robinson, whose deft glovework and folksy manner made him one of the most beloved and accomplished athletes in Baltimore history, has died. He was 86.
The Orioles announced his death in a joint statement with Robinson's family Tuesday. The statement did not say how Robinson died.
The Orioles held a moment of silence before their game against the Washington Nationals, and the teams lined up outside their dugouts to pay their respects. Also before the game, fans gathered around the 9-foot bronze statue of Robinson inside Camden Yards.
“Great player, great guy on the field, great guy off,” said fellow Orioles Hall of Famer Jim Palmer, who was overcome with emotion. “Respectful, kind. And you don’t meet too many guys like that. Brooks was a genuine person. There was no acting. Brooks was just a genuine person.”

Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant
Keanu Reeves' reputation as one of the nicest guys in Hollywood couldn't be more deserved, according to his artist-girlfriend Alexandra Grant.
The Los Angeles painter and sculptor, 50, opened up about her relationship with the "John Wick" star, 59, in a recent interview with People. Grant hailed Reeves during the chat as an especially kind, creative and hard-working person.
"What I love about Keanu and our exchange is that we're pushing each other to build new roads," she told People. "Seeing the other person's problem-solving is inspiring, like ... 'How do I try this other thing?'
"He's such an inspiration to me," she added.

Cassidy Hutchinson
Cassidy Hutchinson warned Tuesday that her former boss Donald Trump would not have guardrails if he wins a second term as president, arguing that Trump’s violations of the Constitution after he lost the election in 2020 should be disqualifying from the White House.
“I think that Donald Trump is the most grave threat we will face to our democracy in our lifetime, and potentially in American history,” Hutchinson told CNN’s Jake Tapper in an interview Tuesday.
Hutchinson’s new book, “Enough,” details the chaos and lawlessness at the end of the Trump administration, where she had a front row seat as a top aide to White House chief of staff Mark Meadows during the former president’s efforts to overturn the election and the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol.
