Banner-University Medical Center Tucson expansion
Banner Health in 2016 will begin rebuilding Southern Arizona's only academic medical center. Among other changes, the main hospital entry will move from facing east (toward North Campbell Avenue) to facing north (toward the Jefferson Park neighborhood). The area between the new entryway and the neighborhood will be buffered by green space. Vehicles will enter through one main route on Elm Street off Campbell, an intersection slated for enhancements.
