When dance, music go their own ways

"Merce Cunningham and John Cage were visionaries and also explorers. They didn't always know what they were going to get, but they were willing to seek out and try to find new ways to do things," says Robert Swinston, the Merce Cunningham Dance Company's choreography director. Swinston is leading the company's two-year "Legacy Tour," which pulls into Centennial Hall Saturday.
