With Dr. Arrington’s arrival, Banner-UMC Tucson is able to provide Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy to patients with certain complex abdominal cancers, minimizing chemical exposure to the rest of the body, and reducing the side effects of chemotherapy.
She earned her medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine and completed her general surgery residency at the University of Minnesota, where she also received fellowship training in surgical infectious disease. She then completed a fellowship in surgical oncology at the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center in Duarte, Calif.
