Dec. 27, 1997: UA cornerback Chris McAlister picks off a first-quarter pass intended for New Mexico's Kirk Robbins, one of four Arizona interceptions on the night in the Wildcats' 20-14 win in the Insight.com Bowl at Arizona Stadium. UA tailback Trung Canidate is named the game's top offensive player with 97 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries, while fullback Kelvin Eafon is named the MVP for his 75 yards rushing and two TDs, including 13 carries in the fourth quarter. Arizona finishes 7-5.
