● An Associated Press file photo taken in Vermont and accompanying an Oct. 21 story on A15 about decreasing fall foliage was misdated. The photo was taken Oct. 5, 1997, not Oct. 26, 1998, according to Victor Vaughan, national photo editor for the AP.
