Zorro, that mysterious swashbuckling hero, was in Tucson on Aug. 19, 1974, shooting a new television movie titled "The Mark of Zorro," filmed at several locations around town. This scene was being shot at Mission San Xavier del Bac. Frank Langella, a relative newcomer better known for his work on Broadway, was playing the dual lead role of Zorro and Don Diego. Also starring in the Movie of the Week were Yvonne de Carlo and Ricardo Montalban. The filming took an unfortunate turn for Zorro's stunt double.
