JAMES DAVIS / ARIZONA DAILY STAR 1978 David Frost, the host of the 1960s political satire show "That Was the Week That Was" and one of television's premier interviewers, was a speaker at the University of Arizona on Jan. 31, 1978. The title of his talk was "Interviews I Shall Never Forget," but the the majority of audience questions centered on one particular interviewee, Richard M. Nixon. That gave Frost the opportunity not only to provide insights into his 29 hours of interviews with Nixon but also to promote his book about those controversial interviews with the ex-president. After speaking for two hours, Frost left town. For his time, he received $3,500.
