A 31-year-old motorcyclist was killed Saturday afternoon after running a red light and colliding with a car on the city's southeast side, Tucson police said.
About 3:00 p.m. Daniel William Easley was headed west on East Valencia Road when police say he ran the light at the eastbound Interstate 10 off-ramp, striking a grey 2018 Subaru WRX.
Easley died at the scene, the release said. The Subaru driver sustained minor injuries.
His death marks the 12th motorcycle fatality so far this year, which is down from 21 at the same time in 2025, police said.
