The second crossword and Jumble puzzles that were discontinued in the Arizona Daily Star's Classified section return today. Both were eliminated Sunday after the Tucson Citizen published its last edition on Saturday.
Several years ago, Tucson Newspapers, the agency that published the two newspapers, began printing a single Classified section, which incorporated puzzles that had separately run in the Star and Citizen.
The puzzles were pulled until contracts could be reviewed.
"We are happy that we could restore these features for our readers," said Teri Hayt, the Star's managing editor.
