Two incidents of bouncers brawling with customers earned a west-side strip club a $2,000 fine from the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control.
One incident started when the club’s staff kicked a 17-year-old boy out of the TD’s West Showclub, 749 W. Miracle Mile. The boy and the bouncer were pushing and shouting at each other. The bouncer got a handgun from his car and told the boy he would shoot him if he didn’t leave, according to a Liquor Department investigator’s report.
The bouncer didn’t have permission from management to have a gun or to use it in his security job, the report says.
A few days later, door security staffers fought with a man they were escorting out of the club, according to another report.
Both incidents happened in February, and last month the state Liquor Department issued a fine for an underage person on premises, a disorderly employee, “repeated acts of violence” and “failure to protect the safety of patrons.”
