A 73-year-old man died Monday of injuries he received when his crashed his motorcycle on the Tucson area's northwest side nine days earlier, authorities said.
Robert Clell Hatfield was traveling with another motorcycle Oct. 3 when he lost control near West Silverbell Road and North Trico Road, struck a tree and was thrown from the bike, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said.
Deputies took Hatfield to a hospital, where he died on Oct. 12, the department said in a news release Tuesday.
