Authorities have identified a burned body found near Corona de Tucson on Tuesday morning as that of 21-year-old Amber Christine Padilla of Marana.
Her body was found by a man walking his dog in the area of East Camino Aurelia and South Houghton Road, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department. The area is southeast of Tucson.
Deputy Jason Ogan said investigators don't know when Padilla was last seen.
Authorities are still waiting for the results of an autopsy performed Wednesday and hoping forensic evidence will give them some clues.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
