Charter school organization lauds Pima Prevention Partnership superintendent

The award was presented by the Arizona Charter Schools Association to Harry Kressler, who leads three Pima Partnership schools in Tucson and Phoenix.

Kressler, a longtime school leader and champion of serving Arizona’s most at-risk youth, also serves as a resource to others in the charter movement.

For the past 23 years, Kressler has led Pima Prevention Partnership, a non-profit serving 12,000 families annually.

Nearly 15 years ago, he saw a need for schools to serve the children participating in Pima Prevention Partnerships substance abuse treatment programs. In 2002, Kressler founded Pima Prevention High School, followed by Pima Partnership Academy for middle-school children and Arizona Collegiate High School in Phoenix.
