Letter: Appreciation for Howard Fischer

How fortunate we are to have Howard Fischer of Capitol Media Services reporting on legislative and other activities in the Arizona legislature on behalf of the Arizona Star. As just one example, I had read an online USA Today article of the U.S. Supreme Court ruling on the AZ voter registration limits that was disjointed and extremely confusing. Howard Fischer cleared things-up for me by reporting on what the ruling did, and importantly, didn’t do in his story on August 23. His reporting is always in-depth, clear and understandable even though the subjects he covers are often times not. He is a professional journalist who clearly understands the subjects he reports on.
