Our speaker will be Kristina Rico. She works under the Campus Community Relations Committee for the University of Arizona, formerly Banner Alzheimer Institute in Research, BA in Micro Molecular Biology and Pre-Law.
Kristina is targeting patients who suffer from social determinants of health and connecting them to community health workers. Currently, she manages four children: three-year-old twins, a four-year-old and also a 15-year-old. This makes Kristina great at targeting what our special people would enjoy doing as part of the family unit. Keeping them as active as their abilities allows making our caregiving so much easier. Our meetings are held on the second Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the HOA-1 Arts and Crafts Building.
Our meeting on Saturday, December13 will be on sleep, presented by Sicily La Rue, from the University of Arizona Center for Sleep, Circadian and Neuroscience Research.
We are looking forward to greeting new people and of course our long-standing members.
