Dear SaddleBrooke Friends & Neighbors,
My sweet and loving mom, Janet Rasmusson, HOA-1 member and friend to so many in her Unit Six neighborhood, passed away suddenly, but peacefully in the early morning hours of Monday, July 6, 2026, at Northwest Medical in the ICU. I was by her side every moment, as was my husband, her steady son-in-law, Nigel Peacock until her final heart beat at 2:38 a.m. My dad, Carl Rasmusson, and my mom loved SaddleBrooke with everything they had. I have never seen them happier. We lost my dad 16 years ago, but thankfully, mom was able to enjoy another 15+ years in this wonderful place she called home.
A very heartfelt thank you to those who knew her, cared about her and called her friend. She left notes almost everywhere around her house, and I can’t tell you how many different names she had written down—which tells me all of you were quite special to her in one way or another.
Nigel and I will be planning a memorial at Vistoso Funeral Home in the early Fall so that friends and family who are away for the summer will be able to attend. I am so grateful to everyone at SaddleBrooke: you all know how to take care of each other, and it’s been lovely to bear witness to your kindness all these years.
