Why would anyone want to travel away from SaddleBrooke in March when the weather is (usually) ideal for outdoor activities? Well, this March when triple-digit heat descended upon the Brooke, members of the SaddleBrooke RV Club experienced perfect weather in San Diego! Staying at the Sun Outdoors San Diego Bay RV Resort, club members engaged in activities including a 35-mile bike ride to Coronado Island, golf at municipal courses, a visit to the delightful Museum of Illusions (there is one Phoenix also), an outing to Cabrillo National Monument, and of course our notable happy hours and potluck dinner. San Diego has much to offer in the way of attractions, outdoor activities, and great eating establishments. A nearby trolley system allows widespread travel for only $2.50. I’m sure we will be back in the future.
Interested in learning more about the SaddleBrooke RV Club and our upcoming events? The SaddleBrooke RV Club is an active group of SaddleBrooke residents who enjoy traveling in a variety of RVs such as travel trailers, fifth wheels, and motorhomes. The club also welcomes those who currently do not own RVs but have sufficient interest in the RV lifestyle to attend club meetings and join us for rallies by staying in nearby hotels or tiny houses in RV parks. Because many of our members travel during summer, our local meetings are held October through March. We also have a bon voyage party in April, and holiday potluck party in December.
Please attend our next meeting on October 13, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the HOA Activity Center, and checkout our Facebook page, our webpage sbrv.clubexpress.com, or email SBRVC President, Ron Browne at sbrvcinfo@gmail.com.
