Itsuki Ishihara notched a hat trick as the No. 3-seeded Pima College men's soccer team routed No. 6 Mesa 6-1 in the NJCAA Region I, Division I quarterfinals on Monday.
Ishihara scored in the 6th, 32nd and 57th minutes for the Aztecs (13-3-1), who play at Yavapai in the semifinals at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Prescott.
Yuki Jahara, Ricky Gordillo and Seung Eon Kim also scored for Pima, which is the defending national champions.
