Students from Pueblo High School put 300 magnetic butterflies on a sign along the U.S.-Mexico border fence during the Borderlands Exhibition project on the west side of Nogales. Tucson-area high school students submitted art focusing on the border and its weight in their lives to the project, which ended with the more than 50 submissions being projected onto the border wall Saturday night. The project was coordinated by Pueblo High School graphic design teacher Ernesto Somoza. Thirteen honorable mentions were selected and the winner, a piece by Tony Moreno, a junior at Tucson High School, won a $300 scholarship.
