OMAHA, Neb. - Two Omaha men have been convicted on federal drug and shooting charges in connection with their drug trade and the slayings of three men.
Dale Giles, 32, and Charmar Brown, 25, are scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 28. They face at least 60 years in prison.
They were found guilty Thursday of conspiring to distribute more than a ton of marijuana from Oct. 1, 2004, to June 20, 2006. They also were convicted of possessing 220 pounds of marijuana for sale.
They were also found guilty of wounding an Omaha man in October 2005 who died this summer in an Omaha shooting.
And they were found guilty of possessing and discharging firearms against 27-year-old Benigno Dominguez and 22-year-old Frank Wilkinson of Mesa, Ariz., and 33-year-old Faustino Garcia of Denver.
The three men's burning bodies were discovered May 4, 2005, in northwest Omaha by authorities responding to a 911 call.

Federal authorities did not charge Brown and Giles with the three men's slayings, but the pair will face state murder charges.
Prosecutors said Giles and Brown killed the three to avoid paying them an estimated $3 million for a ton and a half of marijuana.
Evereada Kouris, 31, Giles girlfriend, was found guilty of drug conspiracy and faces upward of 10 years in prison.
