Thirteenth-seeded Sahuaro went on the road to fane No. 4 Tucson High and pulled off a 65-60 upset win in the second round of the girls Division II state playoffs. With the win, the No. 13 Cougars advanced to the quarterfinals and will play No. 5 Mesa on Tuesday in Glendale. The Star caught up with the Cougars after the game.
