Painter Patricia Redding
Patti Redding in her home studio with a dog owned by her late daughter, Juliana. Redding’s daughter was 21 when she was murdered in Santa Monica, Calif., in 2008. A woman charged with the crime was later acquitted. Redding has used art to help her deal with her pain.
