On Oct. 6, U.S. District Court of Arizona Judge John C. Hinderaker ordered the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to facilitate the return of Ahmed Soliman, who grew up in Phoenix after his family fled Egypt when he was 4. Soliman, 31, was deported to Equatorial Guinea without due process in late April and has been arbitrarily detained and subject to abuse since then.
