Pima Community College’s newly remodeled and expanded Building and Construction Technology Center will expand the center’s ability to train students in carpentry, electrical, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), plumbing and construction management.
The center’s expansion was achieved through congressionally directed funding of $1,232,000 and revenue bonds, and was primarily supported by former U.S. Congressman Raul Grijalva, who died last year in March.
