Catalina Foothills School District

OPINION: "As a mom of a recent CFSD graduate, plus two children currently enrolled in CFSD schools, I implore you to help fund education. My children have benefitted from the outstanding education, facilities, and technology available to them, and I hope everyone’s children in the Tucson community can continue to benefit from our excellent schools," writes Melinda McNeilus, chairperson of FRIENDS of CFSD.

OPINION: "My wife and I moved into the Catalina Foothills 30 years ago, specifically to be in this school district. Today we would not have that reason," writes Bill Gideon, a parent of two CFSD children and a volunteer for the Back To Basics campaign.

I have confidence, however, that CFSD’s voters won’t be deceived by shiny objects dangled by our opponents purely as distractions," write Amy Krauss, a member of the Catalina Foothills School District Governing Board who is running for re-election. 

OPINION: "Voters should be wary of board candidates who are willing to exploit parents’ natural inclination to worry about their children by misrepresenting facts in order to gin up hysteria so they can claim to have a solution to a problem that doesn’t actually exist," writes Amy Bhola, a member of the Catalina Foothills School District Governing Board who is running for re-election in November.
