One player declared her intention to leave as of March 13 — guard Tanyuel Welch.
Like every other Wildcat who played this past season under first-year coach Becky Burke, Welch transferred to Arizona last offseason. In her lone season with the Cats, Welch averaged 8.7 points and a team-high 5.2 rebounds per game.
Welch started 19 of the 28 games in which she appeared, averaging 25.5 minutes. She was Arizona’s most athletic perimeter player.
Welch is originally from Indianapolis and spent her first three seasons (including one redshirt) at Memphis.
