● The Dusenberry-River Center Library and the Kirk-Bear Canyon Library are among 15 Pima County Public Library locations that will now be open from 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays.
Dusenberry-River is at 5605 E. River Road, and Kirk-Bear Canyon is at 8959 E. Tanque Verde Road.

Foothills-area libraries offer several programs for children and adults.
At the Dusenberry-River Center Library, programs include:
● Poetry at the River happens 6 to 8 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month. People are invited to bring their poems to read aloud or to come listen to others.
The Dusenberry-River Center branch is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays; and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays;1 to 5 p.m. Sundays.

● A Friends of the Library book discussion group for adults meets from 1 to 2:30 p.m. the last Thursday of each month.
