PHOENIX — The FBI office in Phoenix said Monday that an Arizona fugitive wanted on a felony arrest warrant has been arrested in Spain.
Authorities said 34-year-old Michael Robert Wiseman was taken into custody last Friday by the National Police Corps at the Malaga International Airport.
They said Wiseman was wanted on a felony warrant issued by the Maricopa County Superior Court on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Details of the case were not immediately available.
After Wiseman was arrested by Scottsdale police, he was released on bond in February 2008 and fitted with an electronic monitoring device.
The FBI said that around Nov. 1, Wiseman's electronic monitoring device was no longer emitting or receiving a signal and that further investigation determined he had traveled from Mexico to Paris.
