Hamburger lovers, rejoice.
Popular fast-food chain In-N-Out Burger will be opening a third location in the Tucson area, this time near East Broadway and Kolb Road.
In-N-Out Burger has leased space from Allan Norville at 8 N. Kolb Road for the new location, but the eatery probably won't open until sometime next year, said Carl Van Fleet, vice president for planning and development for In-N-Out Burger.
"The opening date is uncertain, but it won't be before the end of the year," Van Fleet said.
In-N-Out opened its first Tucson location — 3711 E. Broadway at El Con Mall — in April 2007 to much fanfare, as Tucsonans and transplanted Southern Californians waited in line for hours to sample the menu.
The chain has since opened a second local location in Marana and now is focusing on the East Side.

In-N-Out will be taking over space that formerly was an East Side location for El Minuto Café, said broker Craig Finfrock of Commercial Retail Advisors, who represented Norville in the transaction.
The building will be torn down and replaced with a new burger stand to meet In-N-Out's needs.
