Neville Proud likes to tell people they have entered "a highly emotional state; you can't find it on a GPS, but when you get here you know where you are."
He's referrring to his restaurant Florizona, the culinary centerpiece of the newly reborn Lazydays RV Campground that reopened recently in Tucson in the old Beaudry RV Resort at 3200 E. Irvington Road. Proud, who helped design the property for Beaudry in the late 1990s, is the general manager.
Florizona's menu includes entrees like I'm Feeling Saucy spaghetti and meatballs; Cheerful Chicken Marsala with rosemary-roasted potato wedges; and Feeling A Little Nutty apple-walnut salad with raspberry vinaigrette. Entrees run from $8.95 to $18.50 for the Glorious Mesquite-Grilled Rib Eye.
