Step Into Frost Way with The Kerwin Frost Box at McDonald’s
Starting Dec. 11, The Kerwin Frost Box will again feature your choice of either a Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, a side of fries and soft drink. But the real treat, of course, is the toy — one of six McNugget Buddy collectibles.
The fast-food giant caused a stir last year with the release of the limited edition Cactus Plant Flea Market Box, which was quickly dubbed the adult Happy Meal.

Meet the McNugget Buddies
According to McDonald's, McNugget Buddies were first introduced in 1988 as part of a limited time Happy Meal featuring ten different McNugget Buddy collectibles. This new group was designed in partnership with DJ and entertainer Kerwin Frost and include:
- Kerwin Frost: The Mayor of Frost Way is a true champion of the Buddies and encourages them to be themselves.
- Don Bernice: The Wise Stylist, an experienced fashion designer who creates all the outfits for the Buddies in Frost Way.
- Uptown Moe: The Neighborhood Hero, the no-nonsense, street-smart, supportive guy from around the block in Frost Way everyone knows and loves.
- Waffutu: The Curious Optimist, who grew up in Frost Way and was raised by the whole neighborhood.
- BRRRICK: The Cool Guy, the most adventurous Buddy in Frost Way who speaks in puns, loves trying new things and techno music.
- Darla: The Dreamer, a soft-spoken yet peacefully confident singer who moved to Frost Way to pursue her dream of becoming a superstar as the lead singer of "The Frostettos."
McDonald’s is bringing back its figurines in a new adult Happy Meal, toys included.
