For the first time in more than a decade, a different name sits at the top of the fast‑food satisfaction rankings.
Jersey Mike’s Subs has debuted at 84 out of 100 on the American Customer Satisfaction Index, booting Chick-fil-A out of the No. 1 spot.
It’s a strong showing for the New Jersey-based sandwich chain, which has been adding locations fast without letting quality slip.

Chick‑fil‑A holds steady at 83, still leading the crowded chicken category.
Rounding out the top five are Jimmy John’s, Panda Express and KFC.

Freshness, variety and value
Jersey Mike's was not ranked in 2025, but this year topped fast-food heavyweights in the quick-service restaurants division of the 2026 ACSI Restaurant and Food Delivery Study.
The study is based on 16,464 surveys from randomly selected customers contacted by email between April 2025 and March 2026, who rated fast‑food chains on a 0–100 satisfaction scale.
Survey respondents credited Jersey Mike’s with fresh‑tasting, made‑to‑order subs, enough variety to keep people coming back, and prices that feel fair for the quality — all at a time when ASCI says diners are scrutinizing every dollar spent on food.
In practice, that means customers feel like they know what they’ll get when they walk into Jersey Mike’s or order ahead: sandwiches assembled the same way every time, ingredients that taste fresh rather than pre‑held, and a bill that matches what they expect for that experience, even as food costs climb.
