Siblings' drownings are ruled accidental
Wednesday's drowning of siblings has been ruled an accident by the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
Paulina, 3, and Sebastian Aldecoa, 2, were pronounced dead at Tucson Medical Center after they were found in their grandparents' pool in the 4300 block of North Ventana Drive.
The pool had a fence around it, but the gate lock was somehow in the wrong position and unlocked, the children's grandfather said Wednesday.
It was fourth and fifth drowning deaths of Tucson-area children this year.

Mesa resident Elieel Obed Beltran-Rabago, 21, was booked into the Pinal County jail. He is facing charges of sexual assault, kidnapping and armed robbery, according to a news release.
A witness led investigators to Beltran-Rabago's home in Mesa, the release said.
His arrest came three days after the Maricopa Police Department asked for Pinal County's help with a sexual assault Monday along Arizona 238. Detectives later learned the assault had occurred within 100 yards of an attack the Gila River Indian Reservation Police Department was investigating from June 25, the release said.
Suspect and vehicle descriptions from both incidents were identical, and both victims were from the Mesa area, the release said.
Pinal County sheriff's investigators believe that because the victims were non-citizens who may be less likely to report the attacks, there could be additional victims.
Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-420-8689.
Feds: Smuggler used ultralight aircraft
A man who authorities said used an ultralight aircraft to move drugs into the country was arrested Wednesday in Douglas.
Luis Mario Arvayo, 33, of McNeal appeared in District Court in Tucson on Thursday on suspicion of possessing marijuana with the intent to distribute after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents found more than 1,100 pounds of marijuana in his home, the agency said.
The arrest followed an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the U.S. Border Patrol and the Douglas Police Department stemming from reports of an ultralight aircraft flying low over the area July 15.
Officials were able to pinpoint the drop house for the drugs. Agents went to the residence after a smuggling attempt late Tuesday. They found Arvayo trying to leave the property, the immigration agency said.
Agents detained him and searched the property, finding 45 bales of marijuana weighing 1,141 pounds and $7,272 in cash and other items thought to be used in the smuggling.
Bears prowl for food in Huachuca Mts.
Bears are prowling in the Huachuca Mountains near Sierra Vista.
Fort Huachuca wildlife biologist Sheridan Stone said in a press release that a young bear that "has become habituated to people" is active in Garden Canyon, a popular picnic spot in the lower mountains.
The young bear and others aren't necessarily aggressive but are hunting for easy meals. Visitors should avoid feeding bears and should pack up trash and protect food by locking it in a hard-sided vehicle.
If you spot a bear, you should make noise to let the bear know you're there and walk slowly away from it, then call Fort Huachuca military police at (520) 533-3000.
